In collaboration with French influencers Marie Geigle and Anthony Verlaine, and as part of an international campaign to promote the region, USAID Visit Tunisia released a Southern Tunisia travel guide with a 7-day circuit featuring 21 authentic tourism businesses and experiences which preserve and promote the region’s natural, historical, and cultural heritage. This international campaign aimed to promote Southern Tunisia as a bucket list-worthy destination and to support partner SMEs’ digital and economic growth by increasing their online visibility by at least 20%; and sales by at least 10%. Additionally, 15 of the key featured SMEs are receiving technical assistance or/and grant support through USAID Visit Tunisia programs such as Tunisia’s Living Culture (TLC), Market Readiness Program (MRP) and the Tourism Innovation Fund (TIF). |
